On August 8, 2016 the U.S. Department of the Treasury officially recognized and awarded Kid Scouts the non-profit status. This victory allows so many well meaning parents and sponsors to take an active role in assisting the program with its needs and further supporting the mission of Kid Scouts.

The non-profit status also allows Kid Scouts the opportunity to offer earned credit to high school and college students for their volunteer service. If you are interested in joining the team at Kid Scouts or to sign up a youth please contact them at KidScoutscontact@gmail.com.
